Rehoboth Beach Blue Bonnet Parade

On July, 4th Blue Bonnet Parade entertains beach crowd during the day and then the fireworks are a center of attention when the night falls.

Amazingly beautiful and unusual sand castles grow up alongside Atlantic Ocean in Rehoboth in the summer.

Activities continue in the fall when many hounds and hound-lovers come to Dewey and Rehoboth Beach for "Greyhounds Reach The Beach!" celebration.

And also Rehoboth Beach is a hometown for Rehoboth Beach Film Festival in November which within just several years has turned into a well-known cultural event.

Lewes "First Town in First State"

Lewes was founded in 1631 by the Dutch. The townspeople have taken great pride in their historic heritage and enjoy the opportunity of sharing it with you.
Lewes is situated where the Delaware Bay and Atlantic Ocean meet at Cape Henlopen giving every opportunity for enjoying both bay and ocean beaches, swimming, water sports, fishing, boating and more. Over 4,013 acres of preserved land of Cape Henlopen is occupied by Cape Henlopen State Park with miles of walking, biking, and nature trails, historic Fort Miles, observation towers and amazing sand dunes. Here you can bird and dolphin watch, learn about regions past and surrounding nature in the park's education center.

Lewes is a quaint charming town where history is being very carefully preserved by the Lewes Historical Society and town's council. Walk the streets and see many of the older preserved homes, museums, diverse and unique shops of the Second Street, many fine restaurants, several inns, B&Bs and churches. Lewes Farmer's Market attracts local growers and business during the summer and offers a huge selection of produce, seafood, baked goods and such.
